The menus, dialogue boxes in openOffice can't display any characters at all. I attached a screenshot of it. Anybody help me please!

What language version of OpenOffice did you install?
Since you posted another thread on displaying Chinese characters in Konqueror, would it be the Chinese version?
See if the OpenOffice support site or faq's have anything on this particular problem.
