I am tring to install redhat 6.2 onto a machine with scsi built onto the board. The computer gets onto the select installation type and i choose cdrom. It then asks me if it is a scsi or ide. My Cdrom is scsi and connected to the motherboard. When i select scsi the system tells me that it is searching for adaptec ... but the computer hangs up after this. I belief it can be fixed by telling the kernel to search the motherboard and not for an adaptec card however i do not know what the command line option is or how to use it
