KDE 2.2.1 panel doesn´t load

When loading KDE 2.2.1 the panel often doesn´t load. Or it crashes(hides) when attempting to change its parameters. Please help.

What distribution of Linux are you running?

Is this a new install or one you have been running awhile?

I've been running it for few days.

All I can tell you is that version of KDE some bugs and I don't know of a fix for that. The only options that come to mind are a reinstall or up grade your KDE or distro.
