ight i just download this theme XLiquid for the KDE3 i untared it but all there is are pictures and no theme file how to i make it into a theme?

You could try the KDE Control Center under Look & Feel/Theme Manager, click on Add and then browse to the directory where you extracted the XLiquid theme.

you probably need to compile the theme. check any readme files that came with the theme.

if you got it from kde-look.org, check the posts about the theme you downloaded and you will most likely find your answer.

I'm in the same boat, I'm new to this world and can't seem to find any tips on installing a theme from kde-look.org and got only a bunch of pics from the download once it it untarred. HELP US WE'RE NOT WORTHY !! hehehe
