adding hardware (PCMCIA)

Today's my first day in the Mandrake 8.2 OS. How do you add hardware on a laptop? I don't know how to install my wireless NIC.

I have not tried 8.2 on my laptop, but I installed Mandrake 9 last week on it, I left the pcmcia nic plugged in during the install (connected to the network), mandrake detected it fine, its hotswappable and everything.
