I have been looking for an online control pannel for my linux box. The only one I have found is called Webmin located at www.webmin.com (http://www.webmin.com) is there anyother better ones out there? That ones seems a little.. lacking.

Thanks

I hear "bash" is pretty good.

Thanks anyway, I am not looking for a shell but like an online control pannel. The bash shell is already installed on the box, i just need something like webmin but more advanced and better.

Thanks for your time however.

Seconded on Bash.

If you want something even more powerful than bash, a lot of hard-core UNIX geeks swear by Tcsh. It should already be on your system also.

Personally, tsch geeks scare me.

(Really, why would you want a program that intentionally only lets you do a tiny subset of what you can do at a shell? If you want to place arbitrary limits on yourself, just go to a shell and only use commands that don't use letters from the bottom row of the keyboard.)

<sigh> The level of help people get on these forums these days is incredible you know?

Anyway...webmin is the only one that I know of. Good luck in your search.
