Linux Newbie Manual

Someone referred me to this (don't know the exact name, but it's found on www.linuxdot.org) (http://www.linuxdot.org)) for learning Linux, but whenever I go to the website I get a 405 error :mad:. Does anybody have a link to where I can obtain this?

Stop and think what you are saying, "I need something, I don't know what it is, can you tell me where to get it?"

Tell us what it is, and there is a good chance someone will be able to tell you where to find it, or you can find it with a searcher, or there is a substitute available.

Yes you do have a point, but you don't have to get so uppity.... and I found and confirmed that the name if it is the "Newbie's Linux Manual" which I did mention is SUPPOSED to be located at www.linuxdot.org (http://www.linuxdot.org) and as in my original question, does anyone know where I may locate this? I've tried a search but didn't come up with anything.

Well, if you check out www.linuxdot.org (http://www.linuxdot.org) now, you'll notice that the site is currently experiencing "technical difficulty." (So, basically, it's down, having a problem, and nobody knows when it will be back up.)

Oh, I forgot to mention - there are plenty of other Linux sites that are great in helping you understand the operating system. There's this really kewl one I heard about...ummm... www.linuxnewbie.org (http://www.linuxnewbie.org) . Yeah...supposedly it has some good information on it. ;)

I believe the Newbie's Linux Manual which used to be at linuxdot.org is now available at http://www.linuxmall.com/resources/nlm/index.html
