i use linux and have been for a couple of years now, but i still can't go all the way because i can't get my printer to work

it is a Xerox DocuPrint M760, it's not in the drivers list, and xerox have no linux drivers for it,

it works fine in windows, so i was wondering is there a way i could force it to work in linux, or share it in windows and get it to work through the network??

Cheers

Have you tried using CUPS (common unix printing system)?

It can usually get odd printers working

www.cups.org

Hope this helps...

I felt the same way the first time, in Redhat 7.0, I got gimprint installed and printed my first high quality photo on an old HP Deskjet 694C. Took 32 minutes to print, but was true photo quality. :-)
