to get my @home modem to work i need to change my computer name, say i need it to be cmk65492-b what would i type in? i've look for 'man computer name -k' and can't find anything.

Ace69 08-14-2001, 12:40 AM Go to linuxconf. There should be a networking tab that lets you specify what hostname your computer will be.
