Netscape not working

I managed to get my modem connected to the internet but unfortunately my Netscape is not working. It displays a message of "Netscape error". What caused the problem? I dialed in using Kppp and set as dynamic IP address . I'm using Linux Mandrake 7.1 distro and modem was set correctly.

can you be alittle more specific.

What distro are you using?
what do you get when you ifconfig?

anything else that might help us help you?

Not much information to go on but did you set the DNS domain name and primary ip address for you ISP?
