I am using the above , and have installed apt-get and synaptic, these work fine, in fact it is absolutley brilliant as far as dependencies are concerned.

My question is, does any one have a sources.list for Mandrake rpms, the one i am using is the ibiblio one, where i downloaded apt-get and synaptic from.

I did a Google for info on rpm sources.list, but it wasn't that helpful, I need one that will update kde when the next version comes out.Or any other rpms that are available.

Cheers

Use urpmi, and go here (http://swflug.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Web_Links&file=index&l_op=viewlink&cid=1) to learn how to add sources.

Sure, see the last link in my sig.

But, why bother with Apt when URPMI works at least as well?
