about rh 7.1

sometime I used rh 6.2.everything is okay.when I have upgrade to 7.1.one unfortunate thing has happened .My mouse is shiving in zonal.I have use Xconfigurator and changed my monitor.the same happened .I use mouseconfig ,dont work .I used ps/2 2 button .I doubt my displaycard(matrox Graphics Millennium G200 AGP) .but rh 6.2 is all good ,and 7.2 has this problem. does some1 know how to solve it! thanx! :D

try to use xf86config, also try to upgrade the kernel and xfre86 too.

his mouse seems to be vibrating while running redhat 7.1

my problem is mouse pointer like rectangle and ceasless treambling .and there are some zone of line on other screen ! I like linux and more like the freedom of linux.I hate windows it is too big and overstaffed ,it occupy my more space and it work uneffected .and it not security and any1 can break into system .I say window only is ***** and antique.
I will try it ,I wish I could learn more about linux and unix which is perfect system!

Hopefully this will get mouseconfig working for you. Boot to runlevel 3

edit /etc/sysconfig/mouse make sure that it is only 4 lines and that it looks like this:


FULLNAME="Generic - 2 Button Mouse (PS/2)"
MOUSETYPE="ps/2"
XEMU3="yes"
XMOUSETYPE="PS/2"


Now you should (I hope) be able to run mouseconfig and get your mouse set-up properly in X :)
