What kind of internet connection do you have? and which browser do like to use?
After trying The bunch that come bundled with linux, I have found Konqueror to be the fastest on a 56k modem. Some of the others have some pretty cool features, but i just don't seem to get the same speed out of them.

Konqueror is nice and has some cool features but it also has some major disadvantages which make it pretty much unusable for me. Obviously its main problem is that it's part of KDE, which makes it dog slow to start up. Some of its rendering isn't quite right and it can slow down considerably when displaying large pages. Think pages with lots of tables, like discussion forums. Not these boards, where threads are very small but games forums where threads can be one or two hundred posts long. Konqueror starts to choke and use a LOT of memory in these.
Mozilla is the browser for me. That too has some infuriating bugs, such as the way you sometimes just can't type in input boxes or the address bar but overall I think it's the best out there.
