And another in the wrong forum.

The 'How I did it' forum is meant for LNO members to post how-to's/tutorials etc.

I've move this to the Web Serving forum.

1. They don't block port 80
2. It's not running on port 80
3. Magic

One of the above.

Most likely, 1. They probably told you that they were but they obviously aren't. The reason I know for a fact(if you havent changed the ports in apache) that its running on Port 80 is because that is the default port it runs on. :) Remember now, if they wanted, they could track your uploads and easily figure out you have a webserver and then terminate your account. :(

Just be careful and if your getting good upload speeds too then you are pretty lucky. What connection are you on? DSL or Cable?

Is your friend on the same ISP as you? If your ISP blocks incoming port 80 traffic, it might just be limited to traffic from outside your ISP's range.
That's how my ISP works in regards to smtp. It drove me crazy tring to figure out how one friend could connect to me, yet another one couldn't - until I realized the friend that could used the same ISP I do.
No mail server for Spot :(
