DVD and linux...

Hello,

I read all those post that you can't watch DVD via linux , but anybody tried using something like Wine/VMWare and use some win dvd player to watch dvd ? ... it's just theory ...

Right now you can download a DVD player, but it is tricky getting it to work. (www.linuxvideo.org) It is in developement, and looking good.

I give Linux a year before it has usable multimedia programs. (mpg, avi, dat, and VCD, DVD) All the programs I have played with so far have a ways to go.
