Hello all,

What I'm trying to do is convert a hard drive from FAT32 to Ext2 or Ext3 if possible. while maintaining the Fat32 data (i.e. placing it on the Extn drive).

What I have attempted (and failed) so far is Partition Magic 7 + Ext2fsd:
- convert half the drive to Ext2, then use the WinNT ext2fsd service to move the data over... then repartition until all the data is on the Ext2 drive.
- this results in BSOD after a few minutes of data transfer

I don't have experience with this kind of thing, so any help is appreciated.

I'd rather keep the entire drive as one drive (i.e. no splitting up and leaving the drive partitioned), and PM7 (or 8, I checked the demo) has no utility to convert Fat32 to Ext2 while maintaining existing data (as it does for Fat32->NTFS, for example).

Thanks for your time...
