ok ive got three seperate harddrives. one with win 98, one with win2000, and one with 7.2 all running on ata66. the problem is that I cant find a way to be able to select which one to boot without changing cables and jumpers. so i need to find a way to have a bootloader let me select between each os.

Ive checked out Grub but it seemed pretty tough to install. is there anything easier or an easier way to set up multiboot? If not, then could you give me some advice about using grub. any suggestions would be appreciated

How attached are you to what is currently residing on your Mandrake hard drive? Re-installing Mandrake should present you with the option of installing GRUB (for certain if you do not choose an authomatic install). GRUB is extremely simple to install during the Mandrake installation process, even allowing one to decide which hard drive and which OS should be the repsective defaults in the event that the system is started and left to boot up on its own. Good luck to you.

Not necessary to resinstall Drake. Select upgrade and just skip everything until you get to boot loader. Did it last night.

I'm kind of partial to "Boot It", which for $29 (free trial of course) you get most of the features of System Commander, Partition Magic and Ghost.
