Hey all,

I was searching through the archives trying to find out how to make my Eterm transparent...

since I'm running KDE2 with its own WM, I'm assuming I have to run Esetroot to use this... however, I have multiple backgrounds setup (two of my desktops flip through a few dozen random images, and the other two are normal...) so how would I do this? Esetroot requires me to give it a path to the image...

Any ideas? is there another terminal program that will do this?

Thanks,
Bill

i use aterm for transparent background images, i think eterm can also, but aterm was simplier for me.

No, you don't. I think you can just select toggle transparancy from the menu on the title bar.

hmm.... toggle transparency does nothing... matter of fact, thats the only option in the menu that does nothing... I can change tinting, shading, background image... but nothing in the transparency window seems to accomplish anything
