You might consider using rasspy.exe though. You just use this in Windows and it will give you the real password for the account so that you can just dial up with standard ppp. I don't have the site anymore so you'll either have to find it yourself or find a post by mountainman and go to his homepage. Craig McPherson 02-16-2001, 07:59 AM FreeWWWeb should work with Linux. You have to jump through a few hoops to get it to work, but do a Google search and you should be able to find instructions. They don't require special client software, only that you set their site as your home page in your browser. There's a one-hour limit for each connection, and a per-month limit, but you can set up multiple accounts for unlimited access -- no credit card required. HuggyBear 02-16-2001, 08:20 AM FreeWWWeb is not around anymore. There are very few to choose from and you have to get a program to reveal the username and password their software is giving the servers in order to run it solely on Linux. Darn. vhg119 02-16-2001, 12:57 PM you could get a connection to netzero from linux but you have to login from windows first and retrieve the full login information. For example.. you may think that your password is 'madcow' but when the netzero client passes that to netzero its more like 'madcow12141242@netzero.sux.net' or something like that. use this program http://rasspy.gq.nu/ Hartmann 02-16-2001, 02:28 PM Thanks for the help guys... Last year a couple of my friends and I figured out the algorithm for NetZero's Password encryption... I just forgot to write it down :) justlinux.com
