tired!!!!

has anyone have luck with installing kernel 2.4 under mandrake 7.1>..'cos i'm really tired of trying :confused:

ive done it before, are you installing it from a rpm or recompiling from source?

source compiling..but the fun begin when i find that "gcc" is not installed...i get "gcc" and once i try to install it i find that X is not installed i get x and when i try to install it i find that Y IS missing and so on!!!
