I don't have much experience with Slack, so I probably won't be of much help.

1. Do you have the files that the install is asking for?

2. If so, try doing a


./configure --help


and you should be able to set flags pointing directly to the directories in which the files are located.

3. If you don't have the files, I don't think Slack has a package management system (I might be wrong), so you will just have to go out and get them.
