hi guys. i was wondering how do i compile.

with a compiler I suppose. The compiler though depends on the language you are using. Make you question clearer.

Where do i get a compiler? I use Mandrake 9 right now.

Mandrake came with a compiler. Read the README file in the program you are trying to install. Mandrake comes with all of the documents and how to's you need to get started.
