I have Mandrake 7.2, and i use kde. However i cant seem to get the default font setting back. :(
Now i have ugly big unreadable fonts displayed. How can i change back to the default font? The standard button in the font dialog box, doesnt do anything.

Any ideas? :)

Hey there! I am new to Linux also and I had the same problem when I first install Mandrake Linux. Under my user profile of Spartan I saw ugly huge fonts that kept me scrolling sideways like nobody's business! However, under the root the font was just fine. I had some problems installing and took the coward's way of handling a problem by re-installing Mandrake. I am sorry I can't help you, but my font fixed itself after the reinstall. Hope someone helps you!

Click on the Control Center Icon (the green one at the bottom), look under:

"Personalization" or sorts

There you will be able to change the font to what ever you have loaded on your system.
