I am having problems with accessing my linux box from my win xp machine. I have modified my firewall configurations by using the lokkit program that is in redhat 8.0. I know that lokkit comes with other distributions as well as redhat.
anyway when i was reconfiguring my firewall in lokkit I added 'smb:tcp, nmb:tcp' at the part where it said other ports. I also allowed dhcp and my wlan device to be trusted. After doing this i tried to gain access to my linux box through my windows machine and it wouldn't let me.
help would be appreciated.
