konqueror seems to be unstable?

the browser stopped working it seemed that 1st the alt+<- keys stopped working to go back to previous pages then it wouldnt close
anything i can do about that?

Um.. does it happens repeatedly or you are just complaining about the Browser 'locking up' and not being able to do anything about it? If the browser locks up, try killing it. One way I do it is by running the command 'top' from the terminal, then look for the pid of the process I want to kill. Press k, enter that pid, and then just kill it with signal 15. If this happens often, you might want to run the browser from the console so that you can see any error messages outgoing from the program. Easier to fix a problem when one knows what's causing it.

ok sounds easy but excuse the newbie thing but how do i run it from the console or whats the comand line?

konqueror

in i.e. Konsole (or any gui terminal/console).
