I have installed Imagemagick, root user everything okay, under user## I receive error :: import: An error has occured writing to file (root.ps)
I tryed 'mc' to find root.ps. Please ,how do I find file , so I can change the permisssion's?

2. Should I have installed IM in usr or home directory. I installed in root.

I'm using peanut 8.3 starting small will move up later.

whereis root.ps should work else if Peanut has locate, then updatedb and then locate root.ps

If you want to run Imagemagick as a regular user, then you shouldn't have installed in root's home directory as only root will have write and execute permissions.

I shall uninstall IM and reinstall in /usr.

Usually /usr/local or /home, but not /tmp.
