Mozilla 0.7

To mozilla 0.7 user,

I copied the libflashplayer.so and shockwaveclass into mozilla/plugins as told but flash still not working in Mozilla 0.7. Did anyone have the same problem?

You need to copy it into package/plugins, not .mozilla/plugins. I'm pretty sure.

I copied to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, is that the correct path? I was using M17 last time and it was working when I copied those 2 files into /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins.

The location is correct and it is working for me with Moz 0.7 (rh 6.2 rpm downloaded from mozilla.org).

The location you copy it to depends on where you have mozilla installed. If you cd to /usr/lib/mozilla/, and then ls, and you see a bunch of files and some directories, then that's probably the right place. But you also might want to make sure you don't have more than 1 Mozilla installed.

"locate mozilla" might also help you find where the bulk of the Mozilla files are installed (since that's where you'll find the plugins dir that you want to put the flash files into).
