Sorry this could turn into a long post.
My current set up is one 13gb HDD in 5 partitions, one windows, root, swap, usr, and home.
I've bought a new 60gb drive which should also be faster than the 13gb one. What I want to do is to have the 60gb drive as the primary with the 13gb as secondary. The 60gb drive I want to split up into 5 or 6 partitions and have the 13gb drive as storage space.
I'd really like to do this and keep my data and configuration. Especially as Linux is working really well at the moment and I don't want to lose that.
Thanks,
Dizzy

Read over this Hard Disk (http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/mini/Hard-Disk-Upgrade/index.html) upgrade HOWTO, it may help. It's a little dated but should still work.

Excellent link, Thank you.
That's given me a great starting point. I do just want to make sure I understand everything before doing it though.
If I have an MBR on both the primary and the secondary drives I assume it'll just boot from the primary drive. Does that sound right?

Check out the OS Selctor from Acronis;
google for Acronis.
I use the OS Selector and it is SWEET - Much slicker / faster than other boot selectors I've tried in the past.

You will also have to make sure you have the right entries in your bootloader's configuration file to a) install the bootloader to the MBR of the 60G drive, and b) tell the bootloader where to find your Linux / partition.
If you're doing a fresh installation on the 60G drive, that should happen as part of the install process.

What I plan to do at the moment is:
1 Remove the 13gb disc.
2 Put in the 60gb disc and install windows and partition magic.
3 Divide up the dirve ready for Linux.
4 Put in the 13gb drive as master.
5 Copy all of linux to the 60gb drive.
6 Remove the 13gb.
7 Boot linux from floppy and reconfigure LILO.
8 When I'm sure it worked I'll format the 13gb how I want.
If anyone can see potential problems with this please let me know, or if you have a simpler solution I would appreciate that too.
Thanks,
Dizzy
