Hi folks!
I don't use a displaymanager like kdm or so but I want to launch the x-server from the login-shell.
When I just insert "startx&" in .bash_profile it doesn't work. I get an errormessage:
"X: user not authorized to run the X server, aborting."
The rights of .bash_profile" are the following:
-rw-r--r-- 1 armin armin 718 Dec 18 15:51 .bash_profile
Armin, fo course, that's me ;-)).
So, how can I start the x-server together with the loginshell. Or is there another way to start X without a displaymanager?
greez, abraxas
