I just installed SuSE 7.2 2 days ago on almost the exact configuration and I had no problems. How long does it stay there for? what other kind of hardware do you have?

if you've bought the distro and have registered it with suse, then fire an email off to them.
they've been pretty good about some problems I've had, normally get back to you in a couple of days.

Is you cdrom set on secondary master or slave?
I've read in previous posts here that sometimes certain distros will not install if the cdrom is set to secondary/slave and needs to be master.
If this is the case, it may be worth a try.
Are you booting directly from cd or using a boot/install disk?

Mr.
First, Thanks for your interest and help.
I am installing with the CD. The CD-Rom is set as primary master.
In this moment Mandrake 8.0 is installed in my computer who no had problems for installing. It was very easy.
I donīt understand why Suse has this problem in the same computer. I had the same problem with Suse 7.1.
Suse 7.0 was installed in my computer but when i changed my harddisk to the Fujitsu 40Gb he did not recognize all the capacity of the disk and i had to change to Mandrake.
Both Mandrake 7.2 and 8.0 was installed without problems.
Thanks again,
Rafael Pirela
