I've been struggling with this question for a while.
Every now and then the question arises: "Does the kernel support xxxxx?"
So now: where in the sources am I supposed to look for supported chipsets?
In "ATA/IDE/MFM/RLL support"? The chipsets control more than just HDDs?!
Does anyone know the status of support for the AMD 760 family? And the SiS 735?
How'bout the VIA KT266A?
Darn, putting together a comp can be both fun and frustrating, I've been asking myself "will this work? will that work?" for over a year now... :( :mad: as well as seeing those prices fall :)
All hints will be greatly appreciated...
