CRC Error

I kept trying to install Red Hat 8.0 on a machine with all new hardware. I kept getting "CRC Error --System Halted". I switched out all things and last but not least, that processor. I switched out the processor and it went away and had a complete, errorless install. Hope this helps one day, Jeremy

Usually that refers to a memory problem. Maybe solved when you reseated your memory?

I had already reseated the memory and it didn't work until I read another thread where someone did what I did and it worked. I'm serious. I tried everything. Thanks, Jeremy
