If I make up2date on the Red Hat 7.3, if they are a way to restore the previous packages.

In other words, restore previous packages.

Thanks

I don't know that there is an easy way to do what you want. you may want to check the redhat site on that issue. Why do you ask, whats the problem that you are having?

For what reason though? Perhaps you only really need to restore a few packages which would be much easier.

I concur with ferreter,

You may be able to install the older packages off of your RH CD. you could try installing the packages from your RH CD's & see what happens. This has worked on my mandrake 9.0 system with certain packages. it may also work with RH. just save your personal files & give that a try. Again more info would be helpful

post back & let us know what you fins out :D
