Cheers :) Skroob 09-23-2001, 03:06 PM Even though I'm a vi/vim user myself you may want to use emacs/pico/ae as vi can be fairly intimidating at first. If you do decide to go with vi/vim make sure to have a cheat sheet of commands nearby. I believe there is a NHF with these on it but if not a google search should get you some. Of course once you get used to it, it's hard to go back. :) xh3g 09-23-2001, 04:27 PM pico is great for beginners, but vi is incredable. Skroob is deffinitly right in advising you make up a cheat-sheet of vi commands, as there are about a dozen or-so commands that you'll find yourself using more than any others and it helps to have a quick refference handy. X_console 09-23-2001, 05:34 PM There are a couple of vi NHFs in the NHF section. justlinux.com
