I am trying to get this system loaded. I downloaded the 7.0 respin iso and burned the cd, and made the boot image floppy. I boot go through the install to the very end when it says 0 packages left to install, 0 megs left, and it sits there. It doesn't throw up a message or whrite to disk and shutdown, or prompt for the 2nd disk. It just sits there, like it is right now. AARRGGHH!!
CD install is the only option.
Any help would be great.

7,

Can you boot from your CD-ROM drive? I just recently installed RH7 from an iso image with no problems, that is once I copied the iso correctly. If you got as far as you did then your iso is probably fine. I'm fairly new to linux so I have no idea what your problem is but I would try booting from your CD-ROM to see if that helps. Good luck

I had this same problem and it turned out to be a pci video card with the onboard video disabled in the bios. I removed the card, enabled onboard video and it installed fine. You never know!
