I have an older version of Red Hat. I loaded it successfuly some time ago but they didn't seem to have drivers for my ISDN router, my monitor or my video card so I removed it and forgot about it.

I'm trying again, this time by downloading the ISO file from Mandrake. I've attempted dozens of times to get in to the ftp servers to download the boot.img but they always want me to log in. I don't have a password and they won't let me log in anonymously. Obviously, if you can download the ISO file, big deal. What good is it without a boot.img? If I use my old boot.img, I run in to the same problems that I had with the older Red Hat version. Can anyone tell me where I can get a new boot.img?

I have yet to see an ISO distro NOT come with a directory of boot images. Burn the ISO and look around a bit, I'm sure they're there.

Use your email address (or just make one up) -- or use an HTTP mirror. You are using a mirror, not ftp.linux-mandrake.com , right?

The boot.img (or whatever setup of floppy images Mandrake uses) should be on the same FTP server.
