When I start up kde my screen starts up slightly to the right. Is there away to add something to my XFree86-4 file to make it show up a few notches to the left?

Another method would be to use Xconfigurator to adjust the screen position. Silent Bob 08-13-2001, 06:03 AM What video card and drivers are you using? I had the same problem with win2k (using Nvidia drivers) and Linux (using Xfree86 drivers for Nvidia cards). If there is a set of Linux drivers provided by the card manufacturer then it could be best to install those. That way you'll probably get faster 3D rendering and the misalignment problem will hopefully go away, it did for me :) L.I.
