I have 3 questions:

1. Is there any way to adjust the mouse sensitivity?

2. Is there any packages I need to be able to start using my cd burner, or can i just pick a software and download it?

3. This is the second time installing due to doing something wrong...horribly wrong http://discussions.linuxplanet.com/wink.gif Is there any easy way to backup the system in the event I do something "wrong" again.

Thanks for any input you can give.

I'm thinking of trying out Linux, and would also like to know if the mouse sensitivity is adjustable in Mandrake (or any other distributions).

Furthermore, I am dependant on an on-screen keyboard (and mouse sensitivity) because of a mobility impairment. So, I'm also searching an on-screen keyboard for Linux.

Any help would be appreciated!

mouse sensitivity can be changed under mandrake control center, check under harware section. packages for cd burning kan be added through software manager, under the section for archiving /compression. includes neat programs like xcdroast and gnometoaster.

Probably isn't what you want though.
