Man I ran into a huge Enlightenment problem today. It all began after installing the newest RPM's for Gnome. Well I downloaded some new themes last night to play with. I changed to one of them fine, but I didn't like it. When I changed again I got a message about not completing desktop modules, or something of the sort. It then proceeded to crash. Well afterwards everytime I started X, E crashed immediately. So I removed the E autosave file. Finally I got back to X with Gnome and no Window Manager. However, as root, I still can't start X. It's giving me a "font" error. Looks like I have a long weekend ahead of me.
I also found an app for my Hauppauge WinTV tuner card. I had already thrown in the towel and concluded that there were not drivers since it was a "Win"TV card. However, the chipset has many programs for Linux out there written for it.
By the way, what video cards are you all out there using?
I'm using an ATI Rage 3d Pro AGP 2X on my Linux box. Any experiences with other video cards? I'm upgrading next month to new video and sound, plus I'm stealing some parts from my Windows machine. Since my TV card is supported, I only have to use it for Cakewalk now. Ok I'm finished......
