Just ran across this today and just thought I'd share for the dozens of "how to I get my linux box to see my Windows box?" questions we get, and we usually have a lot of answers pointing to Samba so the Windows machine can see it. Well I, like probably a lot of us, completely forgot about NFS until I was reminded of it today.
We also have the option of running an NFS server on our windows box (you can get a free one at http://www.novatech.net/jgaa/warnfsd.htm that is supposed to be pretty good) and then mounting the share with linux/unix. And it looks a *hell* of a lot easier to configure than Samba as well :)
