I'd like to setup a mail server, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to know how to ask the question, so I'll tell you what I'd like to do and see if someone can point me in the right direction.
I've got a number of PCs setup on a home network that is routed to a broadband connection. Three of the PCs are Windows XP systems and one is running RH 8.0. All of the Windows systems have Outlook setup as mail clients and each connects to a number of pop mailboxes. What I'd like to do is setup a mail server on the RH system having it pull and post email to the appropriate pop mailboxes and I'd like the ability to share calendars. The primary need is to have the ability to have shared calendars.
Is this possible? If so, where should I be looking for a solution?
By the way, eventually I'd like to migrate all of the PCs to Linux using something like Evolution as my mail clients. But it is going to take some time to convince my wife to give up Windows. It took her long enough to get comfortable with Windows and moving to another OS is not her idea of fun.
