First thanks joe_atlanta,fancy_piper and cheeky_zombie for ur advice to my other post. Shame I hadn't read checky_zombie first, my head won't be hurting now

I'm trying to configure XFree86, but no matter what I do I can't seem to get it running. I've read nhf on X Window, but same result.

Hardware:

32mb NVidia TNT2 video card

LCD Monitor Samsung I believe

Pointers please

looks like it is the wrong driver for your card.

edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file and change the video card driver from vga to nv

Many thanks Cybr099! I've managed to get x window working by disabling framebuffer. On to next problem
