I'm not sure if this is the right paste to post this, but I really like what someone has taught me and wanted to share it.

Ever wanted to copy and paste text from a term. session into wherever?

Do you have a two button mouse like me?

Then it is simple.

First highlight the text in xterm or whatever text you are working with.

Then click both the left button and right button at the sametime.

Then move your cursor to the place where you want to paste, and then click both left and right mouse buttons again at the same time and it will paste the text.

I think it is a good tip.

Is it necessary to click on the selected passage? I always just hightlight, and then click where I want the text to go...

I'm not sure what you mean by passage?

With the two button mouse, just highlight then click both left and right mouse button, and then place the cursor where you want to paste and click both buttons again.

I really like it.

I think what he's saying is that he just selects what he wants to copy somewhere else, then moves there, and only then does he hit both buttons.
