(using debian btw)

i sorta figured out how to change the console resolution using lilo. i set it to extended... now it's too small, but i guess it's just a matter of getting the right setting.

what i don't know how to do, or where to start, is how to change my console text so it's green. i tried looking at the console-tools docs, but i can't really decipher them. is there some clearer info on how to use the stuff in there, or is there somewhere else i should be looking?

still haven't figured this out. every search brings me to stuff about X, or the Text-Terminal HOWTO (which ain't the right thing i need i don't think.)
