Getting started...

I've decided to go with installing RH 8.0 to get started.

Do I need to download all the disks? Are there files I can skip to save on the download time?

The reason I'm asking is because I've found a mirror that give the seperate files allowing you to compile the disks on your own.

Download and burn the first three iso images the last two cd's are just source cd's.

All you have to have to get a working system is the first disk. If I remember correctly, the last 2 cd's are all source.

I would still recommend downloading all of the iso's, because you're going to want some of that stuff sooner or later anyway.
