I want to get Linux - preferably Red Hat, but I can only downlad via http, ftp doesn't work on my university network.
Does anyone know of an http mirror for Red Hat Linux, or any other distro?

There are hundreds - look on the 'mirrors' page of any Linux distro site. I know for sure most Debian mirrors are HTTP.

Also, check around on your local network - you'd be suprised what can be found on any medium sized campus, especially if students are allowed access...
