I have a
Motorola SurfBoard 4100 USB Cable Modem

I want to install it on redhat 8 ... what sould i do , i didn't find any drivers . However , i saw in other forums that ppl said to connect
it with a network card (it has to output's:usb and network line).

My question , how is the going to solve the problem ?

thanks in advance

When you use the ethernet instead of USB to connect your cable modem to the computer, it requires no drivers in order to operate. Therefore ANY OS that can use your NIC would be able to access the cable modem. BTW-good modem. I work for cable company, and the surfboards are the BEST modems available.
