Here's something for people to chew on:
(I'm doing this for a friend who is a sysadmin)
My friend, we'll call him adminA, is a sysdmin at a local university. The head admin, his boss (adminB), wants adminA to setup linux clients that authenticate against a Windows 2000 Server activte directory so that there's a centeralised user database, ie. same log and pass for linux and windows clients.
Current attempts have been made using LDAP, with no success thus far. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Any ideas, links, or instructions would be great! Thanks.
