I know this isn't the place to bring this question, but I need some help. I want to build a website using Macromedia Dreamweaver 4.0 however I don't know how to host it. I have a computer on a modem but I can't leave the modem running all day. How do I host a website? Where can I go to do this and not have to use one of those services with the dumb banners (in exchange for a website).

Thanks

I don't know any way to do this free. Most of the quality commercial hosting companies are at about $20 a month, nowadays. There are cheaper ones, but then there are "gotchas", like, nobody is there after 5 PM, etc. I run a 'puter shop, and one revenue stream is re-selling hosting from Interliant. and I have been very pleased with them. Solaris boxes, fat pipes, diesel generators, and people who know what they are doing.
