(excuse me for my poor english)
Specifications PC
AMD Duron 650, 128 MB SD-RAM, 9 GB HD
Slackware Linux 8.1, kernel 2.4.18, apache 1.3.27 with DSO, PHP 4.2.3
With the command "top" I discovered that the libhttpd.ep proces is using a lot of memory
There are eight libhttpd.ep processes. (is this normal?)
Each using 2 or 3 percent of the memory, and growing bigger.
After 2 or 3 hours my 128 MB RAM is full and Linux starts swapping
Why is it that libhttpd.ep is using so much memory?
I installed my server this way:
